This Privacy Policy applies to anyone visiting or making a purchase on the Airpact website (aircpact.com, the “Site”), regardless of country of residence.

For individuals residing in the European Union or the European Economic Area, this processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (GDPR). For California residents, the specific rights provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA, as amended by the CPRA) are described in Article 9.

3. Personal Data We Collect

Depending on how you use the Site, we collect:

  • Identification and contact data: first and last name, email address, billing and shipping postal address, phone number.
  • Order data: purchase history, products ordered, amount, payment method used (banking data itself is processed directly by our payment provider, see Article 4 — Airpact does not store it).
  • Browsing and advertising data: IP address, advertising identifiers (cookies, device identifiers), device and browser type, pages viewed, interactions with our ads, collected notably via Meta Pixel (Meta/Facebook), TikTok Pixel, and Google Analytics / Google Ads (see the Site's Cookie Policy).
  • Customer relationship data: correspondence exchanged with our customer service.

The Meta, TikTok, and Google pixels place cookies/identifiers that allow these companies to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and, where applicable, show you Airpact ads on their respective platforms. These tools are only activated with your consent, collected via the Site's cookie banner, in accordance with the Cookie Policy. You may withdraw this consent at any time.

As part of order fulfillment, the Customer's delivery details (name, address) are shared with the third-party suppliers responsible for preparing and shipping the products, strictly to the extent necessary for that shipment.

5. International Data Transfers

Airpact is a company established in the United States and uses service providers (notably Shopify Inc., established in Canada, as well as Meta, TikTok/ByteDance, and Google for the advertising pixels mentioned in Article 4) that may process data outside the European Union.

For individuals residing in the European Union, these transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (notably the European Commission's standard contractual clauses) implemented by our service providers.

6. Data Retention

Data is retained for the period necessary for the purposes described in Article 4, including:

  • Order data: for as long as necessary to manage the business relationship and comply with applicable accounting and tax obligations.
  • Marketing data (if consented): until the individual withdraws their consent.
  • Browsing/cookie data: per the periods indicated in the Site's Cookie Policy.

7. Data Security

Airpact implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure, notably via Shopify's secure infrastructure and the use of a payment provider that complies with applicable security standards (PCI-DSS).

8. Rights of Individuals Residing in the European Union (GDPR)

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access and rectification
  • Right to erasure
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object, notably to marketing
  • Right to withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

9. Rights of California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you reside in California, you have, under the conditions and limits provided by the CCPA/CPRA, the right to know what data is collected about you, the right to request its deletion, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your data, and the right not to suffer discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

10. Minors

The Site is not intended for use by minors. Airpact does not knowingly collect data concerning minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

Airpact may amend this Privacy Policy at any time, notably to reflect the addition of new tools or service providers. The version in effect is the one published on the Site at the date of your visit.
